Wayne Rooney: England need to kick on
England captain Wayne Rooney wants England to kick on next season after going through the international season unbeaten.
Rooney scored his 48th international goal to move level with Gary Lineker and one behind Sir Bobby Charlton in the list of England’s leading goalscorers as England completed a 3-2 victory against Slovenia.
The win means England maintained their perfect record in the European Qualifiers and stretched their unbeaten run to 10 games this season, but Rooney believes there is more to come from Roy Hodgson's side.
